The Delta Dental Mobile Program recently served 50 children in Brookings, and $38,385 in care was performed.  

The dental van provided preventative and restorative dental care to children ages 0-21 years who did not have access to dental care. It will be back in Brookings again in August

“We are so thankful for the partnership that we have with Delta Dental. A $2,500 investment from Brookings Area United Way is leveraged to provide the much-needed care in our community,” Brookings Area United Way Executive Director Heidi Gullickson said. “This program is one way that we work toward our mission of uniting people, sharing resources, inspiring hope and enriching lives. Funding programs that assist individuals and families be healthy and safe is one of our core pillars of focus.” 

The Brookings Area United Way partners with the Delta Dental Mobile Program through funding, marketing efforts and coordinating children’s appointments.
